About The Position

Blueprint Labs is seeking a Policy and Research Manager for its Education Initiatives. This role involves implementing and overseeing multiple programs within the education team, in collaboration with Blueprint's leadership. The manager will support ongoing education research projects, such as the AIin K-12 Schools Initiative and the Charter School Research Collaborative. Key duties include policy outreach, stakeholder relationship management, and research management. Blueprint Labs, based in the Department of Economics at MIT, utilizes data and economics to analyze policy consequences and societal improvement. The organization comprises academic affiliates, full-time staff, and graduate researchers, and collaborates with national academic, government, and nonprofit institutions to produce research influencing policy and practice in education, healthcare, and the workforce.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, public policy, public administration, business administration, political science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Strong project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Data management experience.
  • An employment term of at least two years is strongly preferred.
