About The Position
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of State Budget Director is seeking a Policy and Budget Analyst I. This position will work along side staff with responsibilities including the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Executive Branch budget.
Requirements
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- Professional experience in budget preparation, budget administration, accounting, and/or financial analysis will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities
- Review and analysis of agency biennial budget request.
- Preparation of biennial budget request for assigned agencies within the Executive Branch
- Monitor legislative action during General Assembly Sessions including tracking of proposed changes to Executive Branch budget request.
- Process requests from assigned agencies including budget modification documents, documents for capital projects.
