About The Position
The City of Nacogdoches is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Police Department as Recruits within the Patrol Division. As a Police Recruit, you will perform essential law enforcement duties, including patrolling assigned areas, investigating criminal offenses and responding to calls for assistance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful attendance at a police academy, passing the TCOLE exam and completing field training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Ability to obtain TCOLE basic peace officer certification
- Pass a written examination and physical agility test
- Excellent communication skills
- 20/20 corrected vision
