Performs a wide variety of police and law enforcement activities including police patrol, investigation, traffic regulation, and other traditional and non-traditional related law enforcement activities. (Non-Certified Police Officer) Successfully complete rigorous academic and physical training, through an established Police Academy curriculum. Works under the direct supervision of a Training Advisor, Police Officer and other Police Personnel, with additional supportive supervision from the command staff of the police department. The City of Hallandale Beach is currently accepting applications for the position of Non-Certified Police Officer position. There is a mandatory orientation & Civil Service examination required for this position. If your application is selected, you will be invited to take the exam (date to be determined). Participation is required; otherwise, you will not be considered for the position.
