About The Position
South Ogden City is seeking dedicated, service-minded individuals to uphold the law, protect citizens, and keep our city safe. As a South Ogden Police Officer, you'll enforce local, state, and federal laws, respond to calls for service and assist those in need, conduct investigations, gather evidence, and testify in court, and patrol neighborhoods to deter crime and build community trust.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Utah P.O.S.T. Basic Certification, P.O.S.T Certification within 3 months or ability to become P.O.S.T. certified
- Valid Utah driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass an extensive background check and meet physical demands of the role
- Pass a background check and drug test
