About The Position
The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking Police Officers for the 2026 NC Mountain State Fair, which runs from Friday, September 11, 2026, to Sunday, September 20, 2026. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, are looking for supplementary income, and value teamwork for a safe and enjoyable event. The Fair is located at the Davis Event Center - 765 Boylston Hwy, Fletcher, NC 28732.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
- Must complete all requirements for an NC Probationary Law Enforcement Certification, including completion of Basic Law Enforcement Training, in accordance with the provisions of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission within one year of employment.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Possession of a valid NC Driver's License.
