About The Position
The City of La Vista Nebraska is currently accepting applications from lateral candidates for the position of Police Officer. The La Vista Police Department is a well-respected and modern full-service law enforcement agency that embraces a community policing philosophy. Upon completion of the testing process, an eligibility list will be certified for current and future openings. Requirements
- Applicant must be a certified peace officer of at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Driver's License by hire date
- U.S. citizen
- No felony convictions or a dishonorable discharge from military service
- Any use of marijuana/THC within the past two years or any other Illegal drug use within the last 7 years will result in automatic disqualification.
