About The Position
The Town of Abingdon, Virginia Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy in the patrol division for the position of police officer.
Requirements
- Be a United States citizen
- Be at least twenty-one years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Be in good physical condition
- Have vision correctable to 20/20
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Have a good driving record with a positive point balance
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to applicants currently possessing DCJS Law Enforcement Officer Certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
