POLICE OFFICER - CERTIFIED/LATERAL
About The Position
Lake Havasu City Police Department is seeking certified and experienced officers to join their team in one of Arizona’s most beautiful waterfront cities. This is an opportunity to expand your career in law enforcement with a growing and busy agency. Requirements
- AZ State certification as a Police Officer (or ability to obtain through waiver process for out-of-state officers)
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- High school diploma or GED
- Arizona driver’s license (or ability to obtain one)
- Successfully complete a physical agility testing which includes a 500-yard run, obstacle course, scaling fences, and a body drag, achieving a minimum combined score of 384 points.
- Successfully complete a writing assignment
- Successfully complete an Oral Board Interview
- Successfully complete a polygraph examination
- Successfully complete a psychological evaluation
- Successfully complete an alcohol/drug screening test
- Successfully complete a City paid post-employment medical examination
