Requirements

• Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree
• Associate degree and 4 years of experience or 6 years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and develops staffing and security plans for all special events on the NMSU campus
• Hiring, training, directing and coordinating Reserve Police Officers and Non-commissioned Traffic and Security Personnel
• Conducting security reviews and surveys for Departments and Buildings on campus
• Developing, coordinating and implementing crime prevention programs for the University Community
• Develop and assemble security plans for all events on campus and assure they are carried out efficiently and effectively
• Responsible for billing for Police Department services as special events, prepare billing documents, send to appropriate departments, create estimates for services
• Compile, write, and present reports on operations, services, and outcomes
