Efficiently and courteously deal and protect assigned games as described in established policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with rules, laws and regulations. This role involves accurately exchanging currency for gaming chips, ensuring accuracy and completion of all signatory paperwork and transactions, and assisting with seating players and getting player chips when not dealing on a game. The Poker Dealer is responsible for protecting and maintaining the integrity of assigned games and assets, assuming and maintaining control of assigned games, and upholding game security, asset protection, and rule and regulation enforcement. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry-wide practices and reporting any that may benefit the Company is also a key aspect of this position. Additionally, the role requires warmly greeting and conversing with customers, advising supervisors of disputes, problems, and any suspicious activity, and maintaining knowledge of Company events and promotions to respond to customers accordingly. Effective communication with supervisors and obtaining required approvals are essential, along with performing all other assigned duties.
