About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Must have 6 months of dealing experience in the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting, and promoting Rivers Core Values at all times
  • Practicing teamwork, supporting fellow Team Members, and creating an energized, positive work atmosphere
  • Maintaining grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags are to be worn at all times, and ensure that the Security Department Team adhere to the same standards
  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests at all times
  • Being aware of and handling guest opportunities
  • Maintaining daily log, i.e. time clocks, sign-in sheets when available
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and guidelines.
  • Performing the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
  • Handling guest transactions and notifying Poker Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Poker Supervisor, Dual-Role Poker Supervisor, Poker Shift Manager or Dual-Role Poker Shift Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer.
  • Managing gaming chips, collecting rake and distributing winning pot according to house rules in an accurate manner.
  • Occasional Chip Runner.
  • Supporting and maintaining the Casino guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations.
  • Performing duties in Poker Tournaments; job code 05538.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
  • May work as a Chip Cart Attendant in the Poker Room. A Chip Cart Attendant may sell chips to a Poker Dealer or player directly from a chip cart.
