Under the direction of the Director of Poker, the incumbent is responsible for the operation and conduct of the assigned game in accordance with Gaming Procedure, internal controls, and the rules and procedures of poker. Duties include, but not limited to: dealing cards to players and shuffling as appropriate according to established rules and regulations, announcing winning hands, ensuring correct rake is taken from the winning pot, verifying beginning and ending chip and money balances and confirming supporting documentation, receiving fills and distributing credits, ensuring correct betting for each type of game, monitoring the game and notifying supervisors of any disputes, problems or concerns with either a patron or the progress of the game. The role also involves promoting positive public/employee relations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, conducting oneself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures, resolving customer disputes, issuing customer complimentaries, overseeing drop-box pick-ups, supervising the Poker Brush, and indirectly supervising all other Poker Shift Personnel. The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all shift personnel. Additionally, they must demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service, demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values, and ensure prompt and discreet notification of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. The role also involves performing other duties as assigned.
