About The Position

Deals poker, accepts bets, pays winners, and collects from non-winners. Handles player transactions, notify table games floor supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Rely on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and policies to perform the functions of the job. The Poker Dealer must be highly customer-focused and maintain a positive atmosphere; be friendly and informative as needed. Poker Dealers must learn how to interact with different customers.

Requirements

• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
• Apply oral or written communication techniques
• Prior experience in direct customer service

• Experience in handling cash

Responsibilities

• Deals poker while answering customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc.
• Verify identification of customers when needed.
• Work in assigned areas.
• Accurate use of computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
• Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
• Maintain integrity of the game.
• Notify Supervisor immediately and discreetly of suspicious activity.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
