About The Position

Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko is seeking a Poker Dealer. This role involves managing a poker table, ensuring a fun and safe gaming experience for guests, handling bets and currency exchange, and adhering to gaming laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a positive gaming experience, strong attention to detail, and a desire to be part of a high-energy team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
• Working knowledge of cash handling.
• Knowledge of State of Nevada Gambling regulations and rules.

Nice To Haves

• No experience necessary, will train.
• Minimum six months dealing experience preferred, but not required.
• Passion for delivering a fun, energetic, and positive gaming experience for guests.
• Math skills to collect bets and exchange currency for gaming chips.
• Keen attention to detail to promote a safe gaming space.
• Avid poker player.
• High energy, a great attitude and desire to have fun at work.
