About The Position
The Poison Information Pharmacist Specialist provides real-time clinical consultation and guidance for toxic exposures and medication-related emergencies through the Oklahoma Poison Center. This position supports the poison center's highest call-volume consultation hours and plays a key role in patient safety, public health education, and experiential training of pharmacy students. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise in toxicology practice while working within a collaborative academic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Licensed Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain licensure within 90 days of hire date.
- Oklahoma Preceptor's License by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain within 12 months of hire date.
