About The Position

Under the direction of a Supervisor, the Point of Care Coord utilizes professional knowledge, skills and judgment to perform a variety of technical, clerical, physical and quality assurance functions. The Point of Card Coord works independently and serves as a resource for all of point of care testing. In addition, performs training and teaching functions. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License or Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License
• 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory

Nice To Haves

• Upon hire: ASCP certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology
• Experience in teaching or training
