About The Position

The Point Guard 1 (Midnight Shift) S&R DPT. CANADA DISTRIBUTION CENTER role involves acting as a working team lead responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to internal customers. This role requires specialized or multi-skilled individuals who can perform job duties, coordinate the work of others, ensure training and onboarding requirements are met, and serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and experienced, supporting the team in areas of expertise and overseeing day-to-day activities under the direction of the Area Manager. They will work autonomously within established procedures, promoting a sense of urgency and accountability, and ensuring the team is trained in all processes and adheres to safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
Knowledge or experience in driving PMVs (OP, Reach, Dock Stocker, and Walkie).
Proven ability to work as part of a team and cross-functionally.
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide support and oversight to the team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
Identify and solve moderately complex problems, referencing procedures and gathering necessary information.
Work cooperatively with other departments to achieve building metrics, focusing on team management and processing goals.
Coordinate PMV Operators and GLs in processes such as put-aways, re-warehousing, and selection.
Ensure all team members are trained, engaged, and aligned with North America team objectives.
Support team in areas of expertise.
Oversee day-to-day activities.
