About The Position
Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) is seeking a Board-Certified Podiatrist to conduct independent Utilization Reviews. This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity requiring 1-2 hours per week with no minimum commitment. The role involves reviewing patient records and conducting peer-to-peer conversations. Workers must adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding the privacy and security of sensitive health information.
Requirements
- Podiatry Degree
- Current Pennsylvania STATE license
- Current Board Certification in Podiatry
- 5 years of clinical experience residency
- Daytime availability for peer-to-peer conversations
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the US (HIPAA regulations apply regarding patient records not leaving the US).
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent Utilization Reviews.
- Participate in peer-to-peer conversations during daytime hours.
- Adhere to all applicable HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding the confidentiality, privacy, and security of sensitive health information.
