Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of Podiatry Medicine
• Active and unrestricted Podiatry license in the state
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to connect to patients with empathy and compassion
• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
• Ability to use EMR system for notes and charting

• Board Certified/Board Eligible podiatrist in good standing

Responsibilities

• Provide Podiatry care to residents of facilities, focusing on geriatric and underserved communities.
• Make all clinical decisions.
• Perform Diabetic Foot Care.
• Conduct Fall Risk Assessment and Interventions.
• Provide Pressure Alleviation Recommendations.
• Treat Venous, Pressure and Traumatic Wounds and Ulcers.
• Address Heel, Ankle and Foot Pain.
• Perform Toenail clipping, debridement and removal.
• Provide Routine nail and footcare.
