About The Position

We are seeking a charismatic, professional, and articulate Podcast Host to anchor interviews for our company podcast. This role involves interviewing authors about their new books and publishing experiences, acting as the face and voice of our brand. As a fully remote contractor, you must have a high-quality home studio setup, excellent interviewing skills, and the technical ability to deliver fully edited, production-ready episodes for distribution.

Requirements

• Native or completely fluent American English speaker with exceptional conversational and interviewing skills.
• Must own and use a high-quality dedicated microphone in a sound-treated environment (no echoes or background noise).
• Must own and use a high-quality camera with proper three-point lighting.
• A clean, professional, aesthetic, and distraction-free background for video recordings.
• Proficiency in audio/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Descript, Audition) to seamlessly cut filler words, balance audio levels, and add intro/outro clips.
• Ability to use AI tools to clean up and improve the audio quality of the interviewer's recording.
• Possess a high-quality home studio setup.
• Excellent interviewing skills.
• Technical ability to deliver fully edited, production-ready episodes for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, well-researched video and audio interviews with scheduled guests.
• Record, edit, and master each episode, delivering a polished, final product ready for publication.
• Maintain a professional on-camera presence that aligns with our company’s values and tone.
• Deliver a fully edited, high-quality video file (MP4) and audio file (MP3) ready for distribution per episode, adhering to our branding guidelines.
