About The Position
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team as a full-time, remote employee. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for our online training courses. As a Remote Video Editor, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to our mission of preparing individuals for emergency situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and production
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of video production techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience with online training or e-learning is a plus
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for our online training courses
- Collaborate with our instructional design team to develop engaging and effective video content
- Use video editing software to enhance and improve the overall quality of our videos
- Ensure that all videos adhere to our brand and style guidelines
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Continuously seek ways to improve the overall video production process
