About The Position

Every day, huge quantities of products, sums of money, and numbers of people cross international borders. This course introduces the analytical tools and frameworks that political scientists use to understand and explain the nature of the international political economy. Topics may include trade, regionalism, development, migration, the environment, international law and institutions, and the role of non-state actors.

Requirements

  • PhD in Political Science.
  • Background or experience in International Political Economy.
  • Ability to teach International Political Economy.
  • Submit a CV.

Nice To Haves

  • International Political Economy background or experience teaching International Political Economy is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course PO232: Markets, Money and International Politics during the Winter 2027 term.
  • Deliver lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 8:20 PM.
  • Engage with an anticipated class size of 120 students.
  • Utilize analytical tools and frameworks to explain the international political economy.
  • Cover topics such as trade, regionalism, development, migration, the environment, international law and institutions, and the role of non-state actors.
