We are looking to hire a dedicated Pneumatics Technician to join our team who will support our Pneumatics Technician department.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Can read, write, speak and understand English
1-2 years min. of aircraft pneumatics components maintenance experience or equivalent
Understanding of and abilities in calibrating/ troubleshooting pneumatic components
Capable and comfortable at assimilating new or different pneumatic (and other accessories) capabilities
Capable and comfortable using OEM schematics, technical instructions/diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and other documents such as Reliability Work Scopes, Best Practices, and customer EO’S
Willingness to assist engineering development within related technologies, as required
Possess knowledge of basic electricity
Capable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment, while multi-tasking
Pneumatics Components Bench Technician Level 1
Comfortable receiving training, and able to demonstrate good communication skills
Dexterity and knowledge with hand tools, special tools and precision calibration equipment. (even other mechanical fields equivalency)
Must be adaptive and willing to engage new concepts, processes and technical capabilities.
Also, able to efficiently work with a technical operating system (ERP).
Must possess the ability to work with little or no supervision.

Nice To Haves

A & P, Repairman’s Certificate, FCC License., preferable but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Perform testing, fault isolation, inspection, quoting, repair, preventative maintenance, and rework on various types of Aircraft pneumatic component accessories to include but not limited to: Press. Reg. Shut Off Valves, Pressure switches, Flow Control Valves, Cabin Press. Safety Valves, Surge Control Valves, Fan Air Modulating Valves, Start Valves, Low limit Valves, Press. Controllers, Anti-Ice Valves, Pneumatic Starters and Electro-pneumatic components, while keeping in line with the respective CMM, SPM, SB/AD, EO, Airline Technical. Document, or other OEM Tech. Data.
Receives and performs training given by any experienced shop team member or the lead technician.
Works with friendly and positive attitude; always ready to learn new tasks, and participate willingly with teammates.
Needs to be familiar with a variety of workshop concepts, practices, and procedures.
Rely on training, experience and judgment to plan and accomplish set goals for maximum productivity.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks, while keeping the highest quality standard.
Usually reports to the lead technician, supervisor, or manager.
