About The Position

We’re looking for a PMO Senior Specialist to join our Finance & Workplace team. In this role, you’ll help drive the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that modernize how our Finance organization operates, improves efficiency, and supports Nasdaq’s long-term growth. You’ll work closely with PMO leadership, project teams, and senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Treasury, Procurement, and Accounting Product groups to keep complex programs moving forward. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, PMO, project coordination, business operations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using project and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to finance operations, treasury, procurement, accounting, or enterprise system implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation, modernization, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Interest in developing into a Project Manager role and continuing to build project delivery expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of multiple Finance & Workplace PMO initiatives, helping projects stay on track and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Maintain project plans, roadmaps, dashboards, Confluence pages, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reporting using tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Track milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables while identifying and escalating risks and issues when needed.
  • Partner with Treasury, Procurement, Accounting Product, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and drive progress.
  • Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and Steering Committee materials while ensuring adherence to PMO governance, reporting standards, and delivery processes.
