Job Description: The PMO provides a single point of contact for program management related functions. Responsible for the execution of the program to ensure a coordinated delivery of the business outcomes and ensures that the programs maintain a standard project management approach. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/project setup, execution, and control. Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Integrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan. Management experience with small to mid-size teams. Accountable for tracking project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 5+ years of PMO experience including leading small PMO teams. Seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO leader to support DMTEA's Delivery, Business Management & Controls (DBMC) team. This role is responsible for delivery oversight, financial management, portfolio reporting, operational efficiency, and executive-level insights across the organization. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve delivery performance, strengthen change management adherence, and support strategic decision-making. Ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Global Technology planning, change management, financial management, and portfolio reporting processes. This includes initiative planning, portfolio health reporting, enterprise change management, forecasting, software capitalization, financial tracking, and resource management. This role will leverage a broad set of Bank of America tools and platforms, including PPRT, ServiceNow, TPAS, CAFA, WMP, PMMT, Tech ADS, SharePoint, Confluence, and other enterprise technologies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Highly skilled in Bank of America data manipulation and analysis tools – e.g., Excel, Tableau, Business Intelligence platforms
  • Experience with Bank of America Enterprise Change Policy and Standards
  • Strong relationship, verbal/written communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience working at enterprise scale and in cross functional engagements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, peers, and business partners
  • Ability to analyze complex data/processes and identify people, process, and/or technology impacts

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of PMO, portfolio management, business management, or related experience.
  • Strong financial management and business acumen.
  • Advanced SharePoint development, administration, or automation experience.
  • Demonstrated project and program management experience.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve reporting, analytics, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret data and support strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
  • Support regulatory, risk, compliance, audit, and executive requests through timely and accurate DMTEA performance reporting.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing portfolio insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness across DMTEA.
  • Identify process improvement and expense management opportunities through analysis of financial, operational, and portfolio performance data.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, and communications that effectively convey data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting best practices in analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
