About The Position

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF). This is a part-time role, working 2 days per week, Monday - Friday, with no nights or weekends. The position involves onsite patient care and remote documentation. The coverage area includes Fairhope, Daphne, and Mobile, AL.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted AL state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• 6+ months experience needed as a PMHNP or Psych PA

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
