About The Position

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF). This is a part-time role, working 2 days per week, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends. The position involves onsite patient care and remote documentation, offering stability, support, and flexibility. The coverage area includes Atlanta, Jasper, Chatsworth, and Dalton, Georgia.

Requirements

• Active, Georgia state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• 6 months of experience needed as a PMHNP or Psych PA

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
