About The Position
Rolling Hills Hospital, a 130-bed inpatient treatment facility in Franklin, Tennessee, is seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team. The facility provides mental health treatment to adolescents, adults, and senior adults with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependency issues. The PMHNP will primarily provide medication management services within the inpatient setting, with some occasional outpatient coverage. The caseload will mainly consist of adults and older adults, with occasional assistance for adolescents. The role involves new patient evaluations and medication management, working collaboratively with an adult psychiatrist, and treating general mental health conditions, including some detox patients.
Requirements
- TN APRN License, or ability to obtain.
- ANCC Board Certification.
- One year of PMHNP practice experience preferred (in-patient experience not required).
Responsibilities
- Provide medication management services in an In-Patient setting.
- Conduct new patient evaluations.
- Manage medication for patients.
- Collaborate closely with the adult psychiatrist.
- Treat general mental health conditions.
- Provide treatment for some detox patients.
- Offer occasional outpatient coverage for PTO.
- Assist with adolescent patients on occasion.
