About The Position

We sell service and rent a wide-variety of equipment Including Large and Small Construction Tractors, Forklifts, and Prime/Stand-by-Power Generation. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WEST SACRAMENTO, CA. POSITION SUMMARY Performs planned maintenance services (P.M.) and minor repair on electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks at customer’s sites.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to five years of related mechanical experience are required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write service reports.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must have a valid driver license class C or higher, a clean D.M.V. report, and Forklift Operator Safety Certifications.

Responsibilities

Drive service vehicles to customers’ sites.
Performs planned scheduled maintenance on industrial trucks.
Handles minor repairs on industrial trucks.
Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments.
Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
Prepares service reports on all completed work and turns reports in on a daily basis.
Perform maintenance and repairs on service truck and equipment on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.
