About The Position

The PM Technician Level I performs routine preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians while developing deeper technical expertise. The role completes preventive maintenance tasks as needed, including replacing filters and belts, cleaning coils, and carrying out other routine service activities. The technician uses DST technology to support maintenance activities, documentation, and system tracking while building hands-on field experience.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Tech school, community college, or NCTAP (Apprenticeship Program).
• High school diploma or GED, with basic math and reading skills.
• General knowledge of HVAC/R systems.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, pull, push, balance, kneel, twist, and stand.
• Ability to perform service and repair functions from ladders and overhead.
• Ability to carry and set up step or extension ladders up to 32 feet as required.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks.
• Ability to work from mechanical lifts.
