About The Position
County Waste has an immediate opening for a PM Tech to join their growing team at their site in South Cairo, NY. As a key member of the automotive maintenance technicians team, the work will focus on the PMCS of equipment used by the company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve inspecting tires, break jobs, lube jobs, minor electrical and hydraulic repairs.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Welding/fabrication experience
Responsibilities
- Providing preventative maintenance check services
- Training with senior techs to further skill set
- Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
- Completing, or assigning minor repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Advise supervisor on larger repairs
- Conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment
- Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
