About The Position

Waters Edge Lodge is seeking a Medication Aide and/or Med Tech for the PM shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM). This role involves administering medications, responding promptly to residents' needs, and reacting timely to resident pull cords/alerts. Waters Edge Lodge is a pet-friendly community with 100 apartments located on the lagoon of Harbor Bay, offering residents a warm, familiar atmosphere for an independent and active lifestyle. The community provides extensive programs and activities, fostering a stimulating social atmosphere. Residents can also enjoy nearby walking trails and the amenities at Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Current COVID19 vaccination
• Routine COVID tests
• Physical
• TB test
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice

Responsibilities

• Administer medications
• Respond to residents' needs promptly
• React timely to resident pull cords/alerts
• Enter and perform work in residents' private apartments, which may contain animals.
