About The Position

The PM Mechanic performs preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. The role troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and equipment, documents work and materials, and helps maintain a safe and clean work area. The mechanic may also serve as a backup production line worker. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Duties and responsibilities may change with or without prior notice. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of experience in the position.
High school diploma.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Basic knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including experience with HMIs and work orders.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, or similar applications.
Provide personal tools, except at California locations where tools will be provided.

Nice To Haves

4 years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
4 years of experience working in the position.
2 years of experience managing people or projects.
Associate's degree in vocational training in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
Technical school certification in a related field.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility equipment as required.
Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs promptly and safely.
Complete required daily paperwork and document parts and material usage.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
May perform as a backup to a production line worker.
Follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation, and use personal protective equipment where required.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
