Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in preventive maintenance roles.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with safety regulations.
  • Mechanical knowledge daily to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic instruments, enables efficient troubleshooting and maintenance execution.
  • Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and documenting maintenance activities clearly and accurately.
  • Familiarity with technical manuals and schematics supports precise interpretation of equipment requirements and repair procedures.
  • Organizational skills help manage maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to reduce downtime and enhance operational productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or related fields.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment and machinery according to established protocols.
