Requirements
- Ability to read and understand technical repair and service manuals
- Basic math skills and working knowledge of English
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance preferred
- Aquatic/pool maintenance experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to in-room maintenance requests and general repair needs
- Follow daily instructions from the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment upkeep
- Maintain compliance with brand and safety standards throughout the hotel
- Inspect and monitor building systems and equipment for proper function and safety
- Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Assist in evaluating project feasibility and resource needs
- Interpret technical manuals and apply facility management techniques
- Attend staff and safety meetings and support emergency procedures as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, tools, and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and maintain operational flow
