About The Position

Performs basic support tasks to assist maintenance technicians in installing and repairing machines and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; willingness to learn CNC and machine shop systems.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in industrial shop conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in machine maintenance, facilities, or related field a plus (willing to train the right candidate).
• Knowledge of coolants, oils, and shop fluids preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance including changing coolant, oils, and other liquids throughout the facility.
• Complete filter changes and inspections as part of scheduled PM’s.
• Provide backup support for janitorial duties as needed.
• Safely operate a variety of gauges, hand tools, and power tools.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing machines or facility systems.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall shop operations.

• $3.00/hr shift premium for 2nd shift
