This position is responsible for acquiring and maintaining current knowledge of the client's community documents, policies, and procedures. The role ensures life safety systems are operational and functioning, taking corrective action to ensure the safety of the building, its residents, their guests, and all staff. It also ensures resident guest and intrusion deterrent policies are effectively followed. The supervisor provides leadership and direction to manage relationships with other business groups to ensure the highest level of resident service and achievement of company and property goals. Responsibilities include assisting with budgeting and long-term planning, scheduling staff to cover building needs while avoiding unnecessary overtime, and approving all departmental schedules. The role manages resident relationships to ensure retention and high customer service, including timely resolution of concerns, coordinating special services, and conducting inspections. The supervisor must be able to oversee projects, set and instill high standards of performance, respond to communications professionally, and encourage staff to behave professionally and comply with safety standards. Additionally, the role ensures documents are updated in management systems, and violations and work orders are processed regularly. Regular property rounds are required to ensure safety procedures and rules are followed by staff, residents, guests, and vendors. The supervisor will also write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
