About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Evening Bistro Attendant to join our team. As an Evening Bistro Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that they have an enjoyable dining and drinking experience. The Courtyard Dayton-University of Dayton is a modern hotel offering stylish rooms, productive work areas, an indoor pool, and inviting social spaces. Our on-site restaurant, the Bistro, serves balanced breakfast and dinner options, Starbucks® coffee, and signature cocktails in the evenings. Our hotel is near The University of Dayton and close to area businesses and attractions. Our team-oriented culture emphasizes collaboration, support, and continuous improvement, aiming to create unforgettable guest experiences. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience as a bartender or food server.
Have, or be able to attain, an ABC License to serve alcohol.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of basic beverage mixing techniques and cocktail recipes.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Meet state minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.
Open availability 3PM-11PM, weekends are required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
Take food orders and ensure timely delivery of food.
Prepare and plate food according to hotel standards.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar and dining area.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
Follow all safety and sanitary procedures in the kitchen and bar areas.
Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
