About The Position
The Courtyard by Marriott, situated on CMU’s campus, is seeking an evening Bistro Attendant/Bartender to assist with bar and dining services at their on-site restaurant, The Bistro. If you are enthusiastic about food and beverage and dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and hospitality, we are excited to hear from you!
Requirements
- Communication both verbal and written
- Dependable and customer-focused
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Satisfactory criminal background screening required
- Ability to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Hotel and/or bartending experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure guest satisfaction
- Money handling
- Basic cleaning duties to maintain bistro and kitchen area
- PM service includes tending bar, mixing drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Prepare and present food to guests’ expectations
