This position is for an experienced Service Plumber to diagnose and repair plumbing issues in the field. The ideal candidate is technically strong, communicates well with customers, works cleanly in occupied homes, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of service plumbing experience or strong equivalent field experience
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in basements, crawlspaces, tight spaces, and other physically demanding environments
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose plumbing issues independently and complete service calls professionally
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and field service software such as ServiceTitan or similar platforms
  • US Work authorization required

Nice To Haves

  • New Jersey plumbing license, apprentice background, or interest in working toward licensure
  • Strong water heater diagnostic and replacement experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across common residential and commercial plumbing systems
  • Ability to present repair options ethically and professionally
  • Experience working independently and running service calls solo

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair common plumbing issues, including leaks, fixtures, toilets, disposals, valves, water heaters, pressure issues, and related service calls
  • Troubleshoot plumbing problems accurately and recommend the appropriate repair or replacement options
  • Communicate clearly with customers by explaining findings, presenting options professionally, and setting proper expectations
  • Complete work in accordance with code, manufacturer standards, and company quality expectations
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas and protect customer property while working in occupied homes
  • Document each job accurately with notes, photos, and recommended next steps using ServiceTitan
  • Coordinate with dispatch to keep schedules accurate and customers informed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional service vehicle and work area
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and assist with occasional weekend or after-hours service as needed
