About The Position

Jenkins Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor / Quality Control (QC) professional to oversee residential new construction plumbing operations in the Augusta area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring work is completed to company standards, and maintaining quality, compliance, and efficiency across all job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong field knowledge, accountability, and the ability to hold crews to expectations while keeping projects on schedule.

Requirements

  • Previous plumbing supervisory experience required (residential new construction preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction phases
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
  • Experience performing or overseeing quality control inspections
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and inspection processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support plumbing crews across multiple job sites
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, code requirements, and builder expectations
  • Coordinate daily job assignments and manpower with office and field leadership
  • Monitor job progress and address delays or issues proactively
  • Conduct routine job site inspections (underground, rough-in/top-out, and final/trim stages)
  • Identify and correct installation issues before inspections
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all crews and job sites
  • Maintain QC checklists and documentation for each phase of construction
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and regulations in the Augusta area
  • Enforce company safety policies and job site standards
  • Prepare crews for inspections and ensure readiness at each stage
  • Train and mentor plumbers and helpers on proper installation methods and company expectations
  • Hold team members accountable for quality, productivity, and attendance
  • Address performance issues and provide feedback to management
  • Serve as the point of contact between field crews, office staff, and builders
  • Communicate job status updates, issues, and scheduling needs clearly and consistently
  • Work closely with scheduling and warranty teams to ensure smooth operations
