About The Position

Markade Plumbing is a reputable commercial plumbing company serving the greater Phoenix and surrounding areas for 19 years. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality plumbing services and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Markade is a Kelso Industries company, making it part of one of the nation's leading MEP+ solution providers. We're seeking a highly experienced and motivated Plumbing Superintendent to oversee all on-site activities for commercial plumbing projects. This role ensures quality workmanship, project efficiency, code compliance, and safety, while leading crews and subcontractors from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of plumbing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Drug free pre-employment screening
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and commercial project requirements
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Valid journeyman or master plumber license
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and layout projects for underground, in-wall, overhead, and trim plumbing
  • Supervise day-to-day on-site plumbing operations for large-scale commercial projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain schedule and resolve issues
  • Review plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Lead and mentor field crews, ensuring work is performed to the highest standard
  • Monitor inventory and procurement of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
  • Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and communicate milestones to PM’s
  • Assist in budgeting, estimating change orders, and forecasting labor and materials
