Requirements

  • 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
  • Valid plumbing license or apprentice registration (per state requirements).
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and local codes.
  • Ability to diagnose issues and present repair/replacement options to customers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors).
  • Organized, safety-focused, and comfortable using job management software.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing technical and sales training.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and piping.
  • Respond to service calls promptly, providing efficient and high-quality plumbing solutions for homeowners.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and fixtures to detect issues and recommend repair or replacement options.
  • Troubleshoot leaks, clogs, water pressure problems, and drainage issues using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Provide clear explanations to customers regarding problems, solutions, pricing, and maintenance tips.
  • Prepare and complete work orders, estimates, and service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and service vehicle.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, plumbing codes, and company procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to update job statuses and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Represent the company professionally through excellent customer service and a courteous attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.
