About The Position

McKenney's Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to join their team in the Metro Charlotte, NC area. This role will be responsible for assisting qualified plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. McKenney's has over 75 years of exceptional service in the Southeast.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years' prior plumbing experience
• Valid Driver's license. Employees in this classification must maintain insurability during the term of employment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified plumbers in installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic water, piping, drain piping, fixtures, and gas piping.
• Pick up and deliver necessary parts, materials, supplies, tools and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition.
• Communicate efficiently with team leaders, account managers, supervisors and other McKenney’s team members as needed.
• Cut openings in structures in preparation for repairs or installation.
• Maintain electronic work orders to include detailed description of work performed and time entry daily.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
