As a Residential Plumbing Sales Consultant, you will meet with homeowners to assess plumbing concerns and recommend solutions that best fit their home and needs. This role is focused on building relationships, generating sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experience from consultation through close. Requirements

  • Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in residential plumbing services, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service focus and mindset, putting our employees and Partners first, with excellent ability to communicate and develop relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with residential customers to assess plumbing concerns and provide customized recommendations based on their home, needs, and goals.
  • Build trust and educate homeowners on available repair, replacement, and upgrade options to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Generate sales opportunities through thorough evaluations of plumbing systems and identification of areas for improvement or proactive solutions.
  • Present proposals clearly and confidently, explaining value, scope of work, financing options, and next steps.
  • Follow up on open estimates and maintain consistent communication to support customer decision-making and close opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, recommendations, estimates, and sales activity within company systems.
  • Partner closely with service technicians, dispatch, operations, and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through project completion.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by addressing questions and concerns with professionalism, responsiveness, and empathy.
  • Consistently achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall team revenue and performance objectives.
  • Develop strong product and service knowledge across residential plumbing solutions, including repair, replacement, water treatment, water heaters, repipes, and system enhancements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and sales best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams to support repeat business and referrals.
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism while upholding company values, policies, and customer service standards.
