Requirements

Must own your own basic plumbing tools and battery operated tools.
Experience in Residential plumbing installation.
Able to transport issued tools from job site to job site including ladder.
Operate threading machine.
Operate a drill and Sawzall.
Lift and carry over 80lbs at a time.
Self-motivated, organized with a can-do attitude.
Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing Plumbing systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a changing team.
Committed to creating and participating in a positive workplace culture.
Capable of providing excellent internal and external customer interactions.
Desire to work with hands and to be outside.
Committed to arriving on time and ready to work.
Committed to follow safety procedures.
Appropriate time taken for rest and meal breaks.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of local codes for installation is a plus.
Lean Principles including 5S.
Prior construction or plumbing experience a plus.
PEX Certification preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Graduate of Apprenticeship Program is required for Journeyman.

Responsibilities

Routing various types of water piping and Sewage piping systems of residential and multi-family homes.
Strapping pipes, nail plating, running condensation lines, gluing pipe, running water, waste and gas piping to code and running pex lines.
Working with Cast Iron Waste Lines (using bands and snap cutters).
Working with ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue).
Working with Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux and solder).
Working with CPVC water lines (measure, ream, glue).
Working with Black iron gas line (layout, measure, run gas machine, install).
Working with PEX water lines (cut pipe, use fitting expander).
Operating threading machine.
Operating a drill and Sawzall.
Transporting issued tools from job site to job site including ladder.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.
