About The Position

Maynor Service Company is looking for a Plumbing Punch-List Technician / Helper to join our team and help bring new construction projects across the finish line. A building can be fully plumbed and still not be ready for the homeowner, customer, or final inspection. That's where you come in. As a Plumbing Punch-List Technician / Helper, you'll work during the final phase of new construction to turn a newly installed plumbing system into a clean, functional, inspection-ready space. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in plumbing
  • Valid state issued Driver's License, with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Knowledge of roughs, trims, service
  • Willing to be on call once every 4 weeks
  • Dependable and shows up ready to work
  • Detail-oriented and takes pride in craftsmanship
  • Comfortable using basic plumbing and hand tools
  • Able to follow directions and work safely
  • Willing to learn from experienced plumbers
  • Able to identify problems and communicate them to the team

Responsibilities

  • Complete the plumbing finish work throughout the project, including installing faucets, shower trim kits, tub fixtures, and sink accessories.
  • Set and secure toilets, vanities, sinks, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Install garbage disposals and connect kitchen plumbing components.
  • Install water heaters and assist with final plumbing connections as directed.
  • Install customer-selected fixtures and ensure proper operation.
  • Ensure finished fixtures are level, secure, clean, and professionally installed.
  • Test water supply lines for leaks and proper pressure.
  • Verify hot and cold water functionality at all fixtures.
  • Test drains for proper flow and identify drainage issues.
  • Check toilets for proper operation and leak-free connections.
  • Identify plumbing deficiencies and assist with corrections.
  • Verify water heaters and related equipment are operating correctly.
  • Correct minor issues identified by the plumber, foreman, general contractor, or inspector.
  • Repair or replace damaged fixtures, trim, or plumbing components.
  • Ensure fixtures are properly aligned, sealed, and secured.
  • Verify caulking and finishing details are completed professionally.
  • Identify unfinished or damaged plumbing work needing attention.
  • Keep work areas organized and job sites clean.
  • Remove packaging, debris, and construction materials from completed work areas.
  • Prepare projects for final inspections and customer walkthroughs.
