ENCON Heating & AC is a full-service mechanical contractor with more than 50 years of experience, providing residential and commercial HVAC, plumbing, heating, cooling, and energy solutions. With locations across Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, ENCON combines expert craftsmanship, responsive service, and ongoing training to deliver reliable solutions and create long-term customer relationships. We are looking for an experienced plumber to join our Stratford, CT team. The ideal candidate will have strong residential and/or commercial plumbing experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality work.

Requirements

5 years or more servicing plumbing equipment
High School Diploma
Ability to operate a computer and assigned software (including email)
Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade.
Exceptional customer service skills
Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and team player
Good communication skills; written and verbal
Positive attitude with good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Valid drivers license.
Employment/education will be verified.

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including kitchens, bathrooms, gas lines, and waterlines.
Install and repair water heaters (standard and tankless).
Handle tub, shower, toilet, and faucet installations.
Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues.
Repair and maintain pool heating systems.
Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately document work performed and report issues as needed.
Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
