About The Position

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Mechanic to assist the job site crew with the installation of plumbing systems for commercial projects. Projects will primarily be in K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings throughout the Charlottesville and surrounding areas. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational school or prior training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the job site crew with the installation of plumbing systems.
• Install plumbing systems (under and/or above ground).
• Install fixtures.
• See installs from start to finish.
• Read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints.
• Train and mentor helpers and apprentices.
• Assist other mechanical trades as needed.
• Complete projects from start to finish.
